Sustainable Business & Sustainability Reporting

It is a fact that all consumers, even the most hard-nosed business users, are increasingly becoming aware of what they are consuming, and the implications on their health and well-being. Individuals are beginning to factor this into their decisions to buy products and services. The new sustainability reporting requirements from the EU is likely to encourage businesses to be ‘greener’ in their practices, which will come as good news to eco-conscious consumers.  How raw materials are sourced is a key concern. Without a doubt, sustainability does not imply a reduction of consumption. It simply means influencing how the materials - energy, water, wind, food and transportation - are consumed and the multitude of factors that are involved in that process.
